Audrey was a homemaker and a lifelong resident of West Virginia. She was a Protestant and a great Bible Scholar.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Jesse Arville Cook (1914-1992) whom she married on April 17, 1937 in Glen Morrison, Wyoming County, WV (per WV Marriage License Register, Wyoming County, WV, 1937, Page 98, Application Date: April 16, 1937); sons, Ronnie "Terry" Cook (1947-2009)& David Samuel Cook (1949-1968).
Surviving sons, Arvil Cook and wife Margaret of Jesse, W.Va., Sandy Cook and wife Debbie of Charleston, and Craig Cook and wife Belinda of Dunbar; a daughter, Earline Krantz and husband Vincent of Ransonville, N.Y.; special adopted daughters, Mary Asbury of Dunbar and Donna Wattie of Chesapeake; nine grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
