RITES FRIDAY FOR SHIRLEY H. BAUGHMAN

Shirley H. Baughman, 82, lifelong resident of Lucas County, died Tuesday at Lucas County Memorial Hospital. He had been in failing health for the last eight months.

For a number of years he operated S. H. Baughman trucking company, retiring ten years ago.

He is survived by two sons, Lowell, of Pierz, Minn, and Emmett of Des Moines; one daughter, Donna Williams, of New Richland, Minn.; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Jessie Wells of Chariton and a brother, Earl, of Didsbury, Alberta, Canada.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Fielding Funeral home with the Rev. J. Edward Quick conducting. Burial will be in the Chariton cemetery. Masonic rites will be held at the funeral home by Chariton Lodge, No. 63 A.F.A.M.

A memorial has been established to the Lucas County Cancer Society.
