DAVIS -- Services for Buddy Tucker will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 7, 2005, at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Finis Steelman officiating. Interment will be at Hillside Cemetery in Purcell under the direction of Fox Funeral Home.
A resident of Davis, Mr. Tucker was born on Dec. 13, 1932, in McClain County, Okla., to William C. and Leona Turner Tucker. He passed away on April 4, 2005, at the age of 72 years.

He married Liz Howe in Davis on June 10, 1991.

Buddy graduated from Davis High School in 1953 and lived in several areas before returning to Davis in 1991. He owned and operated a drive-in in Wilburton, Okla., for 18 years and later was in the oil industry selling chemicals and other oil supplies for several years.

Buddy loved the outdoors. One of his greatest enjoyments was catching and eating fish.

He was preceded in death by a son, Alex Keith Tucker; his parents; two brothers, Ross and Arlis Tucker; and two sisters, Carmen Stone and Wilma Taylor.

Survivors include his wife, Davis; two brothers, Loyd Tucker and Vernon Turner, Purcell; two sisters, Doris Vernon, Davis, and Lois Holbrook, Ardmore; several nieces and nephews.

Bearers will be Scott Tucker, Randy May, Rob Vernon, Eugene Tucker, Cliff Tucker and Gary Turner.
