She arrived in America in 1847 aboard the ship "Argo" from Alsase France along with her parents Sebastian Gundy and Margaret Meyer and 7 siblings. She married Adam Toeppe in probably Erie Co. NY in about 1863 and moving shortly thereafter to Missouri. They were blessed with five children. Agnes, Annie, Olivia, Lavinia, and Veronica. She resided with her daughter Veronica Young and her son-in-law Wallace of Arcadia, at the time of her death at the age of 89 years.
