ABBY ELOISE VALE (NEE MC HENRY) ST. JOHN, IN Abby Eloise Vale (nee McHenry), age 87, of St. John, IN, formerly of Whiting, IN, passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2008. She was the loving mother of Gerald Clarence (Mary), Robert (Tammy Brown), Ronald J. (Bernadette) and Clark "Edward" (Susanne) Vale; cherished grandmother of 11; great-grandmother of 17; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, Gerald; and two daughters-in- law: Shirley Vale and Lorraine Vale. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 14, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at The Elmwood Funeral Chapel, 11300 W. 97th Lane (1/2 block west of US 41- Wicker Ave. at 97th Street), St. John, IN with Rev. Paul Vale officiating. Interment at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00-5:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
