Ruth N. Grogg George 91, a resident of Indianapolis since 1967, passed away July 21, 2008. She was born January 1, 1917 to Alva F. and Ada R. Smurr Grogg of Auburn, Indiana.

Ruth was a 1935 graduate of Auburn High School. She married James Robert George April 4, 1938. Ruth was a detail painter for Auburn Rubber Factory for several years, and after that she was employed with the Boston Store in Auburn. Ruth was a dedicated wife and mother and a member of the Aldersgate Free Methodist Church.

Survivors include her loving husband of 70 years, J. Robert George; sons, Harold R. George ( Nancy Harter), Richard E. George (Judy Hanley); daughter, Sharon M. Kuhn; sister, Bessie Mochamer; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Serices entrusted to Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel.
