Ila Belle Knapp, daughter of Nathan and Betsy "Jane" Magoon Knapp, born in Vermont, was married to Gordon Ellsworth, son of Joseph Haslam. She moved to Rhode Island years back where she met and married her husband and she raised her family there. Ila vacationed in Vermont every year, visiting with her cousins, especially the Magoon relatives. In 1949, while vacationing in Vermont, Ila B. passed away.
