Milt was the only child of Robert Lee and Orpha Rouse Hill. He was born and raised in Chicago, and always had a special place in his heart for The Windy City, and his beloved Chicago Cubs. He moved to South Haven Michigan in the forties, where he married my mother, Luella Ahlswede. Dad served in WWII ("The Big One!"), and only shared the pleasant memories with his family. Dad loved all five of his kids very much, and took care of me by himself after Mom died. He always did the best he could for us.
