JACOB L. ELLISON DIED LAST FRIDAY
Jacob L. Ellison, prominent farmer of Sardis, Ga. died last Friday morning at two o'clock after a short illness. Mr. Ellison, was well known throughout this section and his death is regretted by all.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at four o'clock at the Sardis Methodist church, Rev. Mr. Carmichael, the pastor, officiating. Interment was in the Sardis cemetery.

Surviving Mr. Ellison are his wife and the following 13 children: Mrs. G. W. Bargeron, Mrs. J. P. Bonnell, L. J. Ellison, Lovick Ellison, and Frank Ellison, all of Sardis; C. L. Ellison, of Sylvania, Ga., Mrs. C. T. Brooks, of Columbia, S.C., Miss Mildred Ellison, of Newberry, S.C., Miss Janie Ellison, of Atlanta; Jones Ellison, stationed in the U.S. Army in the Orient; Ernest Ellison, of Missouri; Mrs. Robert Bargeron, of Waynesboro; and Miss Clara Ellison, of Newberry, S.C.
