He met his wife, Elizabeth Emma Stubblefield, after being introduced to her by his mother. They were married on December 18, 1943. Ken served in World War II in the Philippines.
He and his family moved to Keizer in 1968. He worked many years for the Oregon Department of Transportation retiring in 1980. Ken was a life long member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He is survived by his wife of almost 65 years; his three daughters, Linda Wiktorek of Salem, Lora Albrecht of Eagle Mountain, Utah, and Lois Smart of Keizer. They have 14 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thurs., July 24 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 570 Madison St. NE., Salem. Private interment will be at Restlawn Memory Gardens, Salem. Arrangements in care of Keizer Funeral Chapel. Statesman Journal Online Jul 23, 2008
