Beulah H. Pausig, 99 of Oshkosh, went to her heavenly home on Sunday July 20, 2008 at the Evergreen Retirement Community. She was born in Oshkosh on August 10, 1908 daughter of Walter E. and Blanche Tallmadge Kenfield. On February 9, 1927 she married Harold C. Pausig in Oshkosh. He preceded her in death on November 3, 1973.
Beulah had been employed by Krambo Bros. (Elm Tree Bakery) where she was the bakery supervisor and won awards for outstanding bakery displays. She also worked Sunshine Laundry, and as a seamstress for Oshkosh B'Gosh. She was a member of the First English Lutheran Church. She belonged to the Dorcas Circle. She enjoyed bingo, sheepshead (card game), and her hummingbirds. Cheering for the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers was a favorite pastime.


She is survived by her daughters, Dorothy Last of Oshkosh and Grace Shurbert of Stevens Point, WI; fifteen grandchildren, Linda (Ronald) Christensen of Oshkosh, Brian (Sue) Last of Denver, CO, Robin (Bonnie) Last of Green Bay, WI , Shari (Martin) Medley of Bradenton, FL, Julie Koier of Menomonee Falls, WI, Diana (Todd) Heinz of Germantown, WI, Heidi (Steve) Schmiling of Algoma, WI, Allan (Kristin) Last of Oconomo-woc, WI, Tammee Peters of Texas, Gary (Karen) Shurbert of Plover, WI, Monty (Misty) Shurbert of Plover, WI, Cindi (Donald) Shurbert-Hetzel of Stevens Point, WI, David Shurbert of Plover, WI, William (Tina) Shurbert of California, and Ronald (Ronda) Shurbert of Stevens Point, WI; 35 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; and a sister, Ethel Muraski of Oshkosh.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, James Kenfield; sisters, Lucile Siebold and Erna Selwitschka; and son-in-law, Edward Last.
Her funeral will be Thursday July 24, 2008 at 11 a.m. at First English Lutheran Church with Rev. Nancy Krueger officiating. Burial will be in Peace Lutheran Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the church on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorials have been established to the First English Lutheran Church and the Oshkosh Area Humane Society.
