Mother of Edward Abbott Chute (1898-1948) of Fitchburg, Worcester County, Massachusetts. Sister of Amy M. Lawrence (1887-1888) of Massachusetts.

Obituary -

"Mrs. Mabel Augusta (Lawrence) Harris, 68, wife of Leon F. Harris, 362 Front Street, died at her home this morning after an illness of several years. She was born in Ashburnham, June 16, 1877, a daughter of William A. and Mary E. (Bixby) Lawrence and had resided in this town 12 years.
Her husband is her only survivor.
The funeral will be in the Fletcher funeral home Thrsday at 2 p.m. with burial in Meeting House Hill Cemetery, Ashburnham. Calling hours at the funeral home will be from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 o'clock."
