Father of Mabel Augusta Lawrence-Chute-Harris (1877-1945) of Ashburnham, Worcester County, Massachusetts and Amy M. Lawrence (1887-1888) of Massachusetts.

Obituary -

"William A. Lawrence, aged 72 years, died Sunday night at the Cooley-Dickinson hospital, Northampton. He was born in Ashburnham July 8, 1856, the son of John and Phoebe (Broughton) Lawrence. On January 31, 1877, he married Mary E. Bixby, who died about two years ago. Mr. Lawrence is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Mabel A. Harris of Florence, Massachusetts and several nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the Congregational vestry in Ashburnham, with Rev. H. Rees Jones, D.D., pastor of the Federated church, officiating. Burial will be in the family lot in the Old cemetery."
