Mrs. Etta Blankenship Webb, 77, of Newcomb, died August 9 at Jellico.
She was a member of Lick Fork Baptist Church for more than 60 years.
Mrs. Webb is survived by seven sons, Columbus of Palatka, Fla., Willard of Jacksonville, Fla., John of North Little Rock, Ark., Monroe of Huntsville, Ala., James of Jellico, Estus of Chicago, and Paul of Newcomb; three daughters, Edna Kennedy of Jacksonville, Fla., and Pauline Lambert and Gladys Foley, both of Houston, Texas; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; five brothers, Alonzo Brooks, William Brooks, Marion Brooks, George Brooks and Henry Blankenship; and two sisters, Annie Carson of Pioneer, Tenn., and Nannie Lay of Cincinnati.
Funeral services were August 11 at Ellison Funeral Home with the Revs. J.T. Leach, Odam Baker and Roe Chitwood officiating. Burial was in Valley View Cemetery.
