Kadoka - Services for Elsie Marie Fisher, 83, will be at 10 am Friday in the Kadoka Presbyterian Church, with the Revs. Gary McCubbin and Eugene Bushnell officiating. Burial will be Saturday in Bluff View Cemetery in Vermillion.

Visitation will be from 10 am until 9 pm Thursday at Rush-Woodall Funeral Chapel of Kadoka and one hour before the service at the church Friday.

Mrs. Fisher died Tuesday at her residence eight miles south of Kadoka.

Elsie Marie Enders was born Nov. 7, 1902, at Ponca, Neb., to Charles and Bertha (Johnson) Enders. She moved with her parents to a ranch southwest of Kadoka where she grew up and received her education. She was employed at the Dacotah Hotel in Kadoka.

She married Kenard D. Fisher Sr. July 23, 1921 at Murdo. They farmed and ranched on the Fairview Ranch eight miles south of Kadoka until her husband's death Dec. 28, 1984. She continued to live there until her death.

She was a member of the Royal Neighbor Lodge of Kadoka.

Survivors include two sons, Kenard Fisher Jr. of Scottsbluff, Neb., and Fred Fisher of Kadoka; three daughters, Dora Brown of Seattle, and Eileen Heinsohn and Viola Olson, both of Kadoka; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Albert, Henry, Ivan, Alfred, and Elnie Enders; and two sisters, Rachel Rose and Dessie Enders.
