RITES HELD FOR MRS. DOLLY GRAHAM AT CHALYBEATE -
Funeral services for one of Lawrence County's oldest residents, Mrs. Sarah A. (Dolly) Graham, Courtland 1, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Chalybeate Methodist Church.
Mrs. Graham, who observed her 94th birthday in September, died at her home at 3 a.m. Monday. A native of Marshall County, she moved to Lawrence at the age of 9 and resided in Mountain Home community until her death.
She was the daughter of the late William and Margaret Davidson, and was the widow of the late M.B. (Matt) Graham who died about 19 years ago. Mrs. Graham was a Methodist.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Brock Aycock, Courtland 1; five sons, Ernest, Roy, Paul and Ralph Graham all of Courtland 1, and Earl Graham, Moulton; 24 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Rites were conducted by Rev. Leroy McClendon and Rev. Charles Boling, with burial made in the adjoining cemetery. Grandsons were pallbearers, and granddaughters were flower girls.
