Mrs. Lula Williams, 73 died suddenly at her home, 505 South Congress Street, at 4:30 Sunday afternoon, after an illness of one hour.
Mrs. Williams was born in Brownsville, Mississippi, but moved to Jackson 57 years ago. She was a member of Galloway Memorial Methodist Church.
Survivors include one son Paul Williams and one sister, Mrs. A. M. Bradley, both of Jackson, and several nieces and nephews.

Lula is the daughter of Landora "Lean" Amanda Glasscock and Richard H. Bell. Lula's mother, Lean is believed to be buried with her husband, Richard Hamilton Bell in Greenwood Cemetery.
