PETERSBURG - Larry A. Vogt, 53, of Petersburg died Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2000, at his
home.

He was born Dec. 21, 1946, in Springfield, the son of Lloyd A. and Hazel E. Guinan
Vogt. He married Linda S. Funk.

Mr. Vogt worked as an assistant superintendent in the Street Department and a heavy
equipment operator, both for the city of Petersburg.

He was a member of VFW Post 2184 in Melville and VFW Post 6871 in Petersburg. He
served in the U.S. Army in 1967 during the Vietnam War and was a member of St. Peter
Catholic Church in Petersburg.

Survivors: wife, Linda; two sons, Paul D. (wife, Keri) Vogt of Tallula and Matthew
L. (wife, Diane) Vogt of Petersburg; a daughter, Teresa K. (husband, Michael)
Schoonover of Petersburg; four grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; a brother,
Tommy Vogt of Kent; and two sisters, Barbara Clemens of Sweetwater and Carol Troxell
of Newton, Kan.
