Son of William J. and Ethel (Colvin) Husband of Dorothy M. "Mike" Goguen, they had been married 56 years(Sept. 20, 1947). Driver for Teamsters Local 251 at the former Moan Brothers Express for 30 years until 1975. He later worked as a power plant technician at the Howard Complex in Cranston before retiring in 1985. He has been a volunteer firefighter in the Hope-Jackson Fire Co, for many years before becoming chief. He retired from the department in the 1970s and was past president of the Pawtuxet Valley Firemen's League. He was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II, and a member of VFW Post 02396. He was a communicant of SS Peter & Paul Church. He was vice president of the West Warwick Chapter 2210 of the AARO and a member of Scituate FOPA Lodge 30. He leaves four sons, John T., Jason W., and Jody T. all of Hope and Jeffrey A. of West Warwick, a daughter Jacquelilne G. Volatile of Scituate; two sisters, Marion Weaver of Coventry and Lillian Shuttleworth of Cranston; 6 grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Beatrice Viola Albro.
