Jane was the daughter of Frederick James and Verna Smalley Harrison. Her birth mother passed away in her youth and she was raised by her other mother, Elizabeth Anderson Harrison. She married Leslie Alvin McClimans, on March 2, 1946. A graduate of the former Penn High School and Thiel College, both Greenville, she briefly taught at the former Hadley High School. She is survived by: her daughter, Betty Jo McClimans Moses and her husband Jimmy; and her sons, Leslie Alvin McClimans II and his wife Tracy; Frederick James McClimans and his wife Jane; and Gregory Scott McClimans and his wife Becky; her grandchildren, Jamie Moses, Christopher Moses, T. McClimans III, Jason McClimans; Frederick McClimans II, Tyson McClimans, Memori Jane McClimans, Ali McClimans, Ella Jane McClimans, Gregory S. McClimans, Alexis McClimans and Harrison C. McClimans; and her great-grandchildren, James Moses IV, Aidan Moses, Catie McClimans, Nanne McClimans, Sarah Gibs McClimans and Alex McClimans.
