William John Van Duker, resident of Pelican City passed away in this city Tuesday morning at 2 o'clock following an illness of six weeks. He was born in Scammon, Kansas, August 29, 1906, and was aged 25 years and 23 days at the time of his death.

He is survived by his wife, Geraldine Van Duker, one son, Norman, his parents Mr. and Mrs. William Van Duker all of this city; three brothers, Clifford Van Duker U.S.N., Harold and Robert Van Duker, one sister, Mrs. Agnes Keffer all of this city. Friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral services to be held Thursday afternoon at 2:30 at the Earl Whitlock Funeral Home, Pine avenue at Sixth, with Rev. A. Theodore Smith, pator of the First Presbyterian Churhc officiating. Interment will be in the family plot in Linkville Cemetery.
