Body found in Lake Huron

The body of a teenage boy was pulled from Lake Huron near Grand Bend on Saturday night, police said yesterday.
The discovery came near the area where Stratford teenager Ryan Albrecht went missing last week.
Lambton OPP spokesperson Const. Chrystal Jones said police couldn't comment on the identity of the body until after an autopsy that was scheduled to be held today.
However, she confirmed that searchers are no longer in the area and that no other person was reported missing in the stretch of water over the same period of time.
The Albrecht family was told a body was found, she said.
The 17-year-old Central Secondary School student went missing shortly after 5 p.m. Wednesday while swimming in rough waters with friends during a cottage trip to Grand Bend.
He was the subject of a search by police and the Joint Recovery Co-ordination Centre in Trenton.
A boater spotted the body in the water about half a kilometre south of the Grand Bend pier Saturday. The Lambton OPP marine unit recovered the body around 8:30 p.m.
Ryan's parents, Roger and Kathy Albrecht, kept a vigil in Grand Bend during the search, supported by other family members and friends.
"It's just a nightmare ... I can't imagine," said family friend Bill Baer on Saturday as he and wife Deb did some yard work at the Albrecht home.
Mr. Baer, who grew up with Mr. Albrecht in the Tavistock area, said he was in Grand Bend with the family Friday night. He described them as close and enjoying sports.
