Nellie May Gregory, 85, of Sullivan died 2:40 a.m. Tuesday (May 28, 1996) in the Illinois Masonic Home, Sullivan.
Services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Reed Funeral Home, Sullivan, with the Rev. Francis Farney officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Graham Chapel Cemetery, Allenville. Memorials: Tupelo Children's Mansion, Tupelo, Miss., or the Illinois Masonic Home.
Mrs. Gregory was born May 17, 1911, in Gamiel, Ky., the daughter of Bruce and Joanne Botts England. She was retired from Brown Shoe Co. and was a member of the First Apostolic Church, Sullivan.
Mrs. Gregory was widowed and is survived by her sons, Floyd L. and wife Donna of Sullivan; Clyde R. and wife Linda of Oakley; daughters, Ruby Laverne Saucedo and M. Eileen Adams, both of Sullivan; Charlotte F. Franko and husband Bob of Windsor; Kathy Martin and husband Bill of Sullivan; stepdaughter, Marjorie L. Raburn of Jacksonville, Fla.; brother, Raymond England of Sullivan; sister, Alma McClure of Sullivan; 20 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 11 great great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and three sisters.
