William W. Cole Passed Away in Home in Ramsey
William Walter Cole was born in Indiana, August 22, 1859 and passed away at his home in Ramsey, Saturday morning, Sept. 27, 1941, from arterio schelosis. He was 82 years of age.
His parents were John and Rebecca Stuck Cole. He was married to Antoney Paris and of this union 3 children survive: Mrs. Irene Quinlan, Mrs. Cora Vincent and Charles Cole all of Decatur. He also leaves two half-brothers, John and Ed Thompson and one-half sister Rose Henderson.
Mr. Cole was one of our oldest citizens and has been a resident of Ramsey for about 52 years. He was a carpenter by trade and worked at it as long as his health would permit. He has been poorly for several years his late ailment being heart trouble.
Funeral services were held from the Blue Funeral Home Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Eld. Edd Brown was the minister and burial was in Ramsey Cemetery.
The singers were Mrs. S. C. Morrison, Mrs. B. E. Smith, J. H. Mueller with Mrs. Mueller at the piano. The pall-bearers were Frank Pruitt, Charles Strobel, Lee Stanfield, Harry Mayerholz, William Lippert and Lin Hoffman.
