Mrs. Antoney Sage, 83, Shelby Native, Dies

Mrs. Antoney Elizabeth Sage, 83, of 1104 East Mueller street, died at 2:30 p.m. yesterday in the Decatur & Macon County hospital where she had been a patient several weeks.
Born March 28, 1868 in Shelby County, she was the daughter of Susan and Gustine Paris. She married James W. Sage, May 18, 1910 in St. Louis.
Mrs. Sage came here from Clinton in 1911. She was a member of the Church of God.
Besides her husband she leaves two daughters, Mrs. Irene York and Mrs. Cora Vincent, both of Decatur; one brother, Asa of Flora; one sister, Mrs. Hattie Carlyle of Cowden; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild and six great great grandchildren.
The body is in J.J. Moran & Sons funeral home. Burial will be in Graceland cemetery. Arrangements are incomplete.
