Concha "Connie" "Gran Gran" Revello Parker, 84, was born in Amado, on April 13, 1921. She entered into rest Nov. 5, 2005.
Connie was predeceased by her parents Ysabel and Dominick Revello; brother, Pedro N. Revello; sisters, Rose R. Samms, Josephine N. Revello and Yolanda Revello.
She is survived by daughters, Jean (Thomas) Hutchison, Ysabel "Bingo" (Kennith) Pannell and Virginia "Jojo" Reynolds; sister, Helen Mixon; grandchildren, Kennith (Latasha) Pannell, James (Lani) Pannell, Jennifer (Jason) Tarket, Shanna Van Camp, Eric Hall, W.D. "Petey" Reynolds, Joey Snyder and eight great-grandchildren.
Connie is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and so many others she loved and nurtured through her life loving each one as her own. She was a loving daughter to her parents and a loving wife and mother. Connie attended the country school at Twin Buttes, Ariz. Her love of learning was inspired by her teacher, Mrs. Catherine Duffy Foy.
She lived in Ruby, Ariz., and later her parents homesteaded at Twin Buttes. Her life was filled with many interests, riding in cattle roundups, working in Green Valley, and tending her "babies," dogs and cats.
The family suggests donations in her memory be made to Pima County Juvenile Court, J.I.P.S., 2225 E. Ajo Way, Tucson, AZ 85713 or The Animal League of Green Valley, 1600 W. Duval Mine Rd. Green Valley, AZ 85614.
Visitations are from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., with a rosary at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 9, at South Lawn Mortuary. Funeral service is at 9 a.m. Thursday at South Lawn Mortuary with a funeral Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Monica Catholic Church with burial to follow at Twin Buttes Cemetery.
