He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Ambrose, Jr. and Stephen, son, Charles Wayne, and granddaughter, Miranda Adam.
He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Margaret (Marge) Adam; children, Jannette Adam of Midwest City, Kent Adam and wife, Debra of Owasso, Connie and husband, Oscar Bonilla of Oklahoma City, and Thomas Adam of San Diego, California; grandchildren, Charles Aaron Adam and wife, Andrea of Irving, Texas, Sarah and husband, Devin Chandler of Irving, Texas, Jenna Adam of Owasso, Rick Hutchison and Shelby Hutchison of Oklahoma City; great grandsons, Gavin Robert Adam and Charles Grant Adam of Irving, Texas; and great granddaughter, Mackinze Hutchison of Oklahoma City; three brothers, Ed, Frank and Bob; four sisters, Victoria Quick, Aileen Johnson. Mary Roach and Delores Stutz; many nieces and nephews.
Charles served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and the Korean War. He retired from Civil Service at Tinker Field in 1973.
Charles enjoyed early morning coffee at Midwest City Regional Hospital with his friends, Joel, Virgil, Jerry and Frances. He was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Midwest City and was also a Charter Member of the Knights of Columbus Council 4026.
Mass of Christian burial will be Friday, August 9, 2002, at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, Midwest City, with interment at Arlington Memory Gardens.
