FREEDOM - Two Deaths, Baby Falls From Buggy

A very sad accident happened on the road to Grays Lake last wheek when Relia the beautiful 5 year old child of Sister Mary Clark "Aunt Mary" as we affecdtionately call her, was thrown from the buggy and so badly injured that she lived only an hour and a half afterward. Aunt Mary and part of her family were coming to Freedom on a visit to her relatives and friends, after an absence of five years; and were expecting a pleasant time when sorrow so suddenly came. The family have the sympathy of the entire community in their sad bereavement. They came on to Freedom where the funeral and burial were held and Dr. A.B. Clark, the father of the child, and others of the family came in to attend. Mrs. Ed Palmer of Thayne, officiated at the organ, and also sang beautifully two selections. The speakers were, Counselor Ole Hokanson, W.E. Jenkins and Eugene Weber, and they gave such comfort as words can give to the bereaved. The house was tastefully decorated, and the casket was literally covered with flowers. Monday the Clark family feft via Afton for Blackfoot.
