Mrs. Nicholas was employed by the Remington Arms Co., in Independence, Mo., until retiring. Born in Kearney, Mo., on Jan. 19, 1909, she was a member of the Holt Christian Church. On Jan. 19, 1926, she married Ernest Nicholson in Kansas City. He died in 1955.
Mrs. Nicholson was also preceded in death by a son, Arthur D.; two stepdaughters, Gertrude Anderson and Lucy M. Rogers; her parents, Charles and Jennie Waters; three brothers and six sisters.
Additional survivors: two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
