Ida Berry Lindsey
Services for Ida Berry Lindsey, 90, of 327 N. Seventh St. will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in McClure-Schafer Funeral Home with the Rev. Ray Whiteman officiating. Burial will be in Gravel Bank Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
Mrs Lindsey died at 5:05 p.m. Wednesday (Feb. 13, 1991) in the Arbors of Marietta.
She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene at Williamstown. Mrs. Lindsey had spent her early life in the Caywood community and later lived in Constitution and in Marietta. She was born Jan. 6, 1901, at Caywood to George and Rosa Miller Wagner.
She married Lewis Berry on Feb. 21, 1918. He preceded her in death on Feb. 1, 1969. Two sons survive this marriage, George Berry of Marietta, with whom she had made her home, and Richard Berry of Newark.
On Aug. 15, 1970, she married Dorsey Lindsey. He died April 9, 1975.
Mrs. Lindsey is also survived by four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; several stepsons and stepdaughters; and one brother, Charles Wagner of Marietta Rt. 3.
She also was preceded in death by two daughters, Margaret Berry and Mildred Richards; two brothers, Gilbert Wagner and Lawrence Wagner; and three sisters, Florence Snodgrass, Laura Prunty and Bertha Hall.
