She was born to Bryan L and Vera Steck Larsen in Manti. She worked several places in Manti and Ephraim over the years and had many friends. After her last job with Sperry Univac she attended Snow College for two years and received a certificate in Early Childhood Education at age 64. She married Joseph Sterner in May 1942. He passed away in
September 1971.
She is survived by children, Josie (Maurice) Anderson, Sandy; Lana (Kelly) DeLeeuw, West Jordan; and Gary (Suzette) Sterner, Las Vegas, NV; daughter-in-law, Marie Anderson, husband, Jeff and daughter, Sara of Manti were very special to her as well. Grandchildren are Jayme, Craig, Stephanie, Chet, Greg and Allison. She has nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Siblings, Bernadine Anderson, Lenis Sibert and Sandra (John) McCormick also survive her. Preceeded in death by parents, two sisters, two brothers, one grandson and one great-grandson.
At Mother's request there will be Graveside Services held on Tuesday, August 5, 2008 at noon in the Manti City Cemetery, Manti, Utah.
