Thomas O. Landstad, 61, of Parsons died at 10 p.m. Wednesday, July 23, 2008, at his home.
He was born June 27, 1947, in Burbank, Calif., to Ole Archie and Jule Laverne (Waples) Landstad. He grew up and attended schools in California, where he earned an associate degree from Antelope Valley College in Lancaster, Calif. He served in the U.S. Army.
For a time, he was employed by L&S Well Service, rural Cherryvale.
A graveside memorial service will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Fort Scott National Cemetery in Fort Scott. Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons is in charge of arrangements.
