Clarence R. Wagner, age 87, of Valders died Sunday morning, July 27, 2008, at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan, surrounded by his children.
Clarence was born November 21, 1920 in the town of Liberty, son of the late Albert and Mary Ann (Griese) Wagner.
On November 19, 1949 he married the former Marion Polster at St. Gregory Catholic Church in St. Nazianz. She preceded him in death on July 14, 2008.
Clarence spent his life working on the family farm with his wife and children since its purchase in April, 1950. He was an avid Packers, Badgers and Brewers fan.
Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law: Bruce and Judith Wagner, Manitowoc; Keith Wagner, Valders; three daughters and one son-in-law: Lynn Wimmer, Stevens Point; Tammy & James Gauger, Valders; Carrie Wagner and special friend, Randall Bowman, Menasha; six grandchildren: Lisa (Nathan) Moore, Charlottesville, VA; Sarah Wimmer, Chicago, IL; Benjamin, Ian and Mariah Gauger, Valders; Loni (Kevin) Kleinhans, St. Nazianz; one brother and sister-in-law: John and Florence Wagner, Wrightstown; one sister & brother-in-law: Marie and Kenneth Bonde, Milwaukee; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Kathleen Otto, Kiel; Yvonne Polster, Mukwonago; Gordon and Serena Polster, New Holstein; Louis and Janet Polster, Kiel; Hank and Joyce Polster, Kiel; James and Loanne Polster, Cleveland; Clarence and Barbara Polster; Sheboygan Falls.
He was also preceded in death by one son-in-law: Marvin Wimmer; seven brothers: Theodore, Edwin, Herbert, Walter, Henry, Stephen and Francis Wagner; and one sister: Alice Wagner.
