A man of many talents, Mr. Camp in his younger years, farmed both dairy and crop for himself and for the Lipps Brothers in Wayne, Ohio, for over 25 years, doing both farming and equipment mechanics. Mr. Camp took care of the State Park grounds on State Route 322 in Williamsfield for many years, as well as, serving as Cherry Valley's Constable. He also drove school bus for Pymatuning Schools for over five years.

Mr. Camp attended the Lenox Federated Church and was a former member of the Ashtabula County Farm Bureau. He enjoyed traveling and spending time in nature.
Mr. Camp married Dorothy M. Reagan in 1971, she died in 1990. He is also preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, James G. Camp, C. Clayton Camp, Lyle E. Camp, Gerald V. Camp, and Russell V. Camp; and three sisters, Gertrude L. Camp, Clara M. Hayes, and Agnes L. Welch.
