LAKEVIEW - Marie Sagehorn, 92, of Fort Bidwell, died at the Lakeview Nursing Home Friday.

She was born to John C. and Melinda Foskett Alexander on June 3, 1893, at Box Butte, Neb. She was reared and educated in western Nebraska, eastern Wyoming and Kalispell, Mont. She was a graduate of the University of Chicago.

She was a newspaper reporter from 1918 to 1920 in Great Falls and Billings, Mont., and came to Klamath Falls in 1920, where she was a reporter in 1921 and 1922.

She married Jeremiah P. O'Callaghan in December of 1920 in Klamath Falls. Mr. O'Callghan was killed in May of 1930 in a logging accident. She married Leo Sagehorn in 1938 in Reno.

Mrs. Sagehorn had been postmistress in Kirk from 1925 to 1929. The couple moved to Tulelake in 1942 and to Fort Bidwell in 1949.

She was active in running their ranch in Fort Bidwell and active in the Community Church and Civic Club in Fort Bidwell.

Survivors include her husband, Leo of Fort Bidwell; two sons, Jerry O'Callaghan of Betheseda, Md., and Maurice O'Callaghan of Fort bidwell; two granddaughters, Mrs. Robert Edward of Chevy Chase, Md., and Mrs. Kevin Davis of Silver Spring, Md.
