Angela was born in Angiang, Vietnam and came to this country at the age of five, along with her mother, Ann, and other family members. Her nickname, "De", means "easy-to-raise". She brought with her a wonderful spirit. All of us who knew her never could forget her. She just would not let us. Angela tenaciously held onto friendships and family. She was a gifted student who was majoring in Psychology at UC Santa Barbara. In the summer of 2006 she and her boyfriend, Jonathan Kendall, took a trip to France and Spain. They loved living the life that they had been given. On January 6, 2007, Angela and Jonathan were taken from us all much too soon in a tragic car accident.
