BAY MINETTE - Annie Lee Norton, 81, of Bay Minette died on Saturday, Aug. 2, 2008 at her residence.
A native of Lottie and a resident of Bay Minette, AL. Norton was a member of the New Hope Community Church in Rabun and worked for Vanity Fair Mills as a lace burner.
Her husband, Thomas Henry Norton; two brothers and two sisters, preceded her in death.
Survivors include, three sons, Tommy Norton of Bay Minette, Victor Norton of Milton, Fla. and Andy Norton of Atmore; two daughters, Doris Jordan of Flomaton and Carol Smith of Bay Minette; two brothers, Roger Presley of Perdido and Ray Presley of Cherryville, Kan.; two sisters, Jewel Dockens of Booneville and Faye Milstead of Perdido; 14 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 4 at Atmore Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Welch and Bro. J.P. Lambert officiating. Burial followed at the Presley and Milstead Cemetery in Lottie.
Family received friends from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 3, 2008 at Atmore Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Atmore Memorial Chapel Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
