During his life, Cotton was a farmer, carpenter and truck driver. He and his wife also owned and operated their own business in the Omaha area. He enjoyed working with horses and cattle, but above all he enjoyed his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all.
Cotton is survived by his two daughters, Carolyn Sue Scott and Shirley Gilbert, both of Omaha, Arkansas; four sisters, Eva Davis of Reeds Spring, Missouri, Icy Jones of Nixa, Missouri, Betty White of Kimberling City, Missouri, and Rosalie Davis of Reeds Spring, Missouri; seven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and a host of dear family and friends throughout the community.
Funeral service is 2:00 PM, Wednesday, August 6, 2008, at Christeson Funeral Home, with Bro. Kenny Asbury and Bro. Doug Grinder officiating.
Pallbearers are Johnny White, Jimmie Dixon, Jeff Dixon, Rick Atchison, Rodney Atchison and Wayne Blevins.
Honorary pallbearers are Charles Dixon, Bill Atchison, Wes Gross and Raymond Gross.
Interment is in Omaha Methodist Cemetery.
