Howard was the son of Charles E and Caroline Greelee Goodrich. He retired from C & P Telephone Co. after 40 years of service. He and his wife Barbara lived in Rutherfordon, NC at the time of his death. Interment, at Boonsboro, Maryland

Mr. Howard Kerwood Goodrich, Age 87, of Rutherfordton, died Monday, August 19, 2002 at Spartanburg Regional medical Center.
A native of Washington, D.C. he was a son of the late Charles E. Goodrich and Caroline Goodrich. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Rutherfordton.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Seidel.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Goodrich; daughter Sharon Wilson of Hagerstown, M.D; grandchildren Jennifer Wilson, Frank Wilson,and Robert Wilson; great-grandson Anthony Wilson: and brother Edward Goodrich oh Rutherfordton.
Family graveside services will be held at a later date. Visitation will be held Saturday, August 24, 2002 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at McMahan's Funeral Home.
