Benjamin's first wife's maiden name was Mary Polly Early, born about 1812, in Tennessee. They were married December 15, 1831, in Lincoln County, Missouri. Benjamin is known to have married twice. Benjamin's second marriage may have been the one recorded on June 26, 1863, Lincoln County, Missouri, between Benj. Sr. and Jane Fr. Temple.It is not known for certain whether this was his second wife's name nor whether they had any children. Benjamin's exact date of death and place of burial are not documented nor are these known for either of his wives. His descendants believe that he is buried in the Kinion Cemetery, Lincoln County, Missouri. There is a rock there with the initial, "B.", on it.
