Galva Maxine Eden, 63, Box 201, Paragon, died at 6:15 p.m., June 28, 1994, at Bloomington Hospital.
Born October 8, 1930, in Morgan County, she was the daughter of the late
Oran Leon "Griz" Dalton and Bernice Marie Jones Dalton Anderson of Martinsville. She married James Edward Eden. He died May 31, 1993.
Mrs. Eden was a graduate of Paragon High School. She retired in 1990 from Harman-Motive.
Survivors include a son, Todd (Jodie Davis)Eden of Martinsville; two daughters, Bonita L. Stout, Unionville, and Rita Mosier, Paragon. Stepsons, James William Eden, Ohio, Robert Wayne Eden, Whiteland, Dorothy Jean Boothe, Indianapolis, Karen Ann Wiley, Columbus, Cheryl Ann Owens, North Carolina. Two brothers, Maurice "Butch" Dalton, Port Orange, Florida, and Robert Dalton, Mooresville; two sisters, Emogene Brown and Carolyn Thacker, both of Martinsville; 11 grandchildren, 10 stepgrandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. One stepgrandson is deceased.
The service will be 1 p.m. Friday at Cure & Hensley-Costin Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Nebo Memorial Park. Friends may call 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
