Mrs. Rubie Boone Dies, Services are set Sunday.
Mrs. Rubie Boone, 60, died Thursday night at a local hospital after a short illness.
Born and raised in Paris, Texas, she had been a resident of Vicksburg for 40 years. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Boone of Vicksburg, three daughters; Mrs Nancy Puckett of Jackson, Mrs. Margie Williams of Yazoo City, and Mrs. Frances Simpson of Nathalie, VA, six sons; R B Boone Jr of Raymond, Thomas Boone of Yazoo City, Floyd Boone of Jackson, David, Billy and Joe all of Vicksburg, one sister, Mrs. Ruthie Preas of Paris, Texas and 20 grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.mn. Sunday from the Glenwood Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Perry Simpson of Nathalie, VA officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery with Glenwood Funeral Home in charge.
The Sons will act as active pallbearers.
