Maggie M Dixon died Wednesday May 15, 1996 at Columbia Vicksburg Medical Center. She was 92.
Mrs Dixon was born in Issaguena County and had lived in Vicksburg since 1920. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.
She was prededed in death by her husband, Maurice E Dixon, in 1983, one son, Albert Lee Hackler, and a brother, Richard Leist.
She is survived by four daughters, Martha Boone, Bobbye Dunn and Doris Williams all of Vicksburg, Vera Snow of Creston, Ohio, three sons: Lonnie Dixon of St Louis, MS, James Dixon of Vicksburg and Maurice Dixon Jr of Dallas, Texas; three brothers, Charlie Leist, Frank Leist and Miller Leist all of Vicksburg, 22 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Glenwood Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev Kuhrman Cox officiating. Burial will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Friday at the Funeral Home.
