Mary Jane Kise, a pioneer of Sonoma County, and well know here, died Tuesday, July 15, 1913 at Lakeport. The deceased was the widow of the late Samuel Cooper Kise and a native of Missouri, age 86 years. She is survived by one son and three daughters.
The funeral of the late Mrs. Mary Jane Kise, sister of Mrs. D. Gale of this city, occurred at Santa Rosa yesterday and the burial was in the family plot in the Rural Cemetery.
The Reverend W. H. Nelson, Pastor of the M. E. Church South of that place, officiated.
Local relatives attended the funeral among whom were Mrs. John Ayers, Mrs. Robert Woods and Mrs. A. J. McPhail.
