BERTHA K. APPELGATE, 82, of Gallup, N.M and formerly of Cape May, died on Monday at the Rehoboth McKinley Christian Hospital in Gallup, N.M.
Mrs. Appelgate was a member of the Tabernacle United Methodist Church in Erma. Born in Cape May, she was a life-long resident until she moved to Gallup nine years ago.
Surviving are a daughter, Harriet J. Thomas of Gallup, N.M; two sisters, Mildred Tozour of Erma and Julia Tozour of Rio Grande; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday followed by burial at the Tabernacle Cemetery in Erma. Friends may call at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd., Lower Township on Friday after 10 a.m.
Contributions may be made to the Tabernacle United Methodist Church, 656 Seashore Road, Cape May, NJ 08204
