Athens, AL - Leo Leford Mitchell, 72, Athens, died Tuesday at a Moulton hospital.
The funeral was today at 10 a.m. at Spry Funeral Home with Michael Broadhurst officiating. Burial was in Athens City Cemetery.
Mr. Mitchell was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include two sons, Ronald Alexander Mitchell and Larry Leford Mitchell, both of Athens; a brother, Samuel A. Mitchell Jr. of Athens; a sister, Jewel Bullington of Athens; two granddaughters and three great-grandchildren.
