ANNA BURBANK
Graveside services and interment for Anna Wendt Burbank, 80, of 3038 Northwest
Lee, Lincoln City, Ore., were held Saturday, June 21, at the Paul J. Wataha
Memorial Park section of the Rock Springs Municipal Cemetery. The Rev. Charles
Hardy of SS. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church officiated.
Pallbearers were Pat Wendt, Jack Von Rembow, W.M. Woodward, Keith Parks, Richard
Parks and Jake McJunkin.
Mrs. Burbank died at her home Monday, June 16, after suffering a heart attack.
She was born in Rock Springs May 18, 1900, the daughter of the late John E. and
Catherine Jarvi Wendt. She was a former longtime Rock Springs resident and she
is survived by her husband, William Edward Burbank and one son, William Edward
Burbank Jr.; and a sister-in-law, Elizabeth Woodward, of Rock Springs; several
nieces and nephews including Pat Wendt, Sally McJunkin and Jack VonRembow, all
of Rock Springs. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Sophia
Hamilton and Nell VonRembow, and her brothers, Joseph, Stanley, Frank and John.
