From the Union Democrat (Sonora) Newspaper

Mrs. Christian Nelson, whose husband is employed at Columbia marble quarry, died of dropsy at that place early Thursday morning. She was 35 years of age and a native of Denmark. The funeral occurred yesterday afternoon, interment being made in the Columbia public cemetery.

Mrs. Nelson gave birth to her two living children in the state of Nevada.
