Oakhurst-- Services for Roy Richardson, 83, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Oakhurst Community Church. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Richardson died Monday.
He was born in Oklahoma. He had lived in Oakhurst for 24 years. He was a self-employed carpenter and a member of the Moose Lodge in Richmond, Carpenters Local and Sierra Seniors Society of Eastern Madera County. He was a volunteer fireman in El Cerrito.
Surviving are his wife, Owena of Oakhurst; three daughters, Barbara Richards of Oakhurst, Dolly Edwards of Point Richmond and Lloy Young of El Sobrante; two brothers, Claude of El Sobrante and Lonnie of Oklahoma; two sisters, Mary Vincent and Dolly VanEtton, both of Kansas; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 3-6 p.m. today and 9-11 a.m. Wednesday at Sierra Funeral Chapel.
