Eunice Orlean Fox, 90, of Decatur passed away 6:15 p.m. Monday (May 20, 2002) in Aspen Ridge Care Centre.
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Graceland / Fairlawn Funeral Home, with Pastor Richard Scott officiating. Visitation was Wednesday. Burial will be in Boiling Springs Cemetery. Memorials: Aspen Ridge Care Centre.
Mrs. Fox was born May 10, 1912, in Decatur, the daughter of Floyd C. and Nora V. Clabaugh Stanley. She was a cafeteria worker for A.E. Staley Mfg. Co. and member of Mount Zion Presbyterian Church. She spent most of her life as a homemaker, taking care of her family. She married Arthur Fox on Aug. 22, 1929, in Clinton. He preceded her in death Aug. 26, 1987.
Surviving are her sons, Junior Fox and wife Alice and Rodger Fox and wife Phyllis, both of Decatur; brothers, Gerald Stanley and Wayne Stanley, both of Decatur; sister, Maxine Weikle of Decatur; 10 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughters, Beverly Jean Gulley and Geraldine W. Fox, and sister Berniece McClerren.
